The choice of places to visit in Moselle is virtually limitless. Over the centuries, Moselle has forged its distinctive character and there are no fewer than 50 museums sprinkled across this area to tell you all about its roots.

These museums span archaeology, architecture, military art, popular traditions, modern art, fire arts, industry and ecology, and a few more unexpected themes such as chocolate moulds and clogs. There are 13 national museums and the most prominent one, the Centre Pompidou-Metz, houses contemporary creation in audacious architecture.
